Stay Zero Project

Stay Zero Project

For those who serve and those who stand beside them

The Stay Zero Project is a trauma informed initiative created to support veterans, active duty military members, first responders, and their families. It was founded on one guiding principle: learning how to stay steady in the midst of chaos.

"Zero" represents a grounded state of calm and clarity. For those who face daily stress, trauma exposure, or life threatening responsibilities, staying zero means learning how to stay connected to yourself even when things around you are not. It is about restoring your nervous system, reconnecting to your body, and reclaiming your sense of self.

We understand that trauma does not only affect individuals. It affects entire families and communities. That is why the Stay Zero Project offers support not just to those who serve on the front lines but also to the loved ones who carry the weight with them.

Who We Serve

  1. Veterans

  2. Active duty military members

Who We are

All of our clinicians involved in the Stay Zero Project are veterans or former first responders themselves. They bring not only clinical expertise, but also personal understanding of the culture, stress, and emotional toll that service can bring. This shared experience allows us to offer care that is grounded, authentic, and deeply informed.

What we Offer

  • Individual therapy with clinicians trained in trauma and responder culture

  • EMDR, Prolonged Exposure therapy, and somatic-based trauma work

  • Nervous system regulation techniques including resonance breathing

  • Family support, psychoeducation, and reintegration planning

  • Community outreach and workshops focused on healing and resilience

Financial Assistance Available

We believe everyone deserves access to high quality care. Through our partnership with the Honor and Courage Foundation, eligible clients may qualify for financial assistance through the Clinician Assistance Program, also known as CAP. This program helps veterans and first responders cover the cost of therapy when working with a Stay Zero clinician.

You do not have to carry it alone. There is a path forward, and we are here to walk it with you.
