Frequently Asked Questions

  • There is no straight answer for this. It all depends on what is bringing you to therapy. Once you meet with your therapist and they learn more about your concerns, you can discuss together what makes sense for you.

  • This is up to each individual therapist. Most sessions last between 45-60 minutes.

  • Virtual sessions take place through a HIPAA-compliant online platform. You will receive more information about how to access these sessions once you agree to work with a therapist. Please note that clients must be in the state of Pennsylvania for therapists to hold sessions.

  • We do not prescribe medication at this time.

  • Rates for sessions are between $120-$190 depending on the therapist you work with. Each therapist is responsible for setting their own rates. Many of our therapists offer sliding scale fees for clients. This is based on several factors and can be discussed during a phone consultation.

  • We are out of network, meaning we do not take insurance. However, many of our therapists will provide “Superbills” which clients can submit to their insurance company for potential reimbursement.

If you are looking to find out about getting reimbursed for mental health services, we recommend calling your insurance company and asking the following questions:

    • Does my plan include “out-of-network” coverage for mental health services?

    • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

    • Does my plan limit how many therapy sessions I can have per calendar year? If so, what is this number?

    • Is there any other information I will need to receive reimbursements, such as a written letter of approval from my primary care physician?Item description

  • Our offices are unfortunately not ADA-accessible at this time. Both of our offices are up a flight of stairs.

  • Yes. Because we are all licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, clients need to be in the state in order to work together. This is true for both in-person and virtual sessions.
